Warren Palley
BOSTON In an effort to cross-market their services to new and existing clients, Palley Advertising and Synergy Network have joined forces.

Worcester, Mass.-based Palley Advertising acquired Synergy Network of Waltham, Mass., according to Palley president and founder Warren Palley. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the agreement, Palley will become president of Synergy Network, replacing Jerri Menaul, who is leaving the company to pursue other interests. Both entities will remain in their respective locations and retain their names for the time being, Palley said.

The move allows Palley, which offers a range of ad and design services including package design, advertising, media planning and buying, and interactive work, to tap into Synergy’s public relations, market research and analysis, and photography capabilities, among others. Together, the two companies have about 25 employees.

Palley and Synergy will offer services to each other’s clients and also pitch new business together; key targets are new companies started by those laid off from large firms who need a brand identity and other marketing services to get off the ground. “This is a great time to grow—we see an awakening in the marketplace,” Palley said.

Palley clients include Wachusett Mountain, the Picadilly Pub restaurant chain, and seafood distributor Jana Worldwide. Synergy’s roster includes Draka USA, Computer Sports Medicine, and Fern Engineering.
